Five second-year mechatronics students took part in a blended short-term mobility between 30 March and 3 April 2026 at the higher vocational college I.T.S. Lombardia Meccatronica in Lonato del Garda. During their stay, they participated in a range of activities designed to further develop their professional knowledge and competencies. In addition to strengthening their technical expertise, they also enhanced key soft skills, including teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. At the same time, lecturer mag. Polona Žigon delivered a series of lectures on English terminology for all students at the host institution.
From 13 to 17 April 2026, Higher Vocational College Nova Gorica hosted six students and the coordinator from I.T.S. Lombardia Meccatronica in Lonato del Garda, who took part in specialised training activities. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to lecturers Branko Jerič, Gašper Oswald, and Milan Podbršček for their valuable mentorship.
Such activities make an important contribution to broadening horizons and strengthening the connection between education and industry.
