Higher Vocational College of School Centre Nova Gorica is a public higher vocational college and an independent unit in the field of tertiary education under the auspices of School Centre Nova Gorica and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. It was founded by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia in 2004.

Higher Vocational College has since developed cutting-edge programmes that blend theory with hands-on experience, preparing students for a competitive job market. Its emphasis on practical training, personalized learning, and strong business sector partnerships has been key to its success. To date, Higher Vocational College Nova Gorica has awarded diplomas to 679 graduates – 365 in computer science and informatics, 253 in mechatronics, and 61 in agriculture and landscape management – a testament to its commitment to quality education and close ties with the local economy.
