One of strategic goals of Higher Vocational College Nova Gorica in the field of internationalization is to increase the number of mobilities of lecturers for the purpose of professional development. A significant advantage of higher vocational programmes compared to university programmes is practical education in companies and networking with employers. The successful and effective cooperation of our college with employers is a crucial part in the quality process. Nine lecturers (two of them are practical education organizers), the principal of Higher Vocational College and the director of School Centre Nova Gorica visited the partner school IES Abastos in Valencia.
The main objective of professional training in the Erasmus+ programme is to acquire knowledge, exchange experience and learn about good practices through cooperation between companies and schools.
IES Abastos also considers practical education a key link between the school and employers. The exchange of good practices in the field of practical education helps to increase success and efficiency and strengthens relations and cooperation between schools and employers.
