From September 17th to September 22nd 2023, three lecturers visited two partner schools in Madrid: I.E.S Julio Verne and I.E.S. Virgen de la Paz. Both schools offer secondary and higher vocational programmes in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering and mechatronics.
The purpose of the professional training for lecturers, as part of the E rasmus+ programme, is to acquire knowledge, exchange experiences, and learn about best practices at partner schools abroad.
Job Shadowing is, therefore, a unique opportunity within the Erasmus+ programme that allows lecturers to learn from their colleagues at partner schools and transfer new knowledge into their work processes at their own school.
During the visit, lecturers get acquainted with the practical implementation of teaching, the curriculum and the educational system of the partner school. Additionally, they can exchange teaching methods and tools, contributing to the improvement of the educational system.
